In the next round, she will face the famous landowner Wang Yidi.

Zheng Yijing, ranked 28th in the world, was drawn in the first round by Tainan native Huang Yuxi, who also belongs to the Heku team. This was also the first time the two met in an international competition. In the first game, Zheng Yijing resolved two game points in a row under adversity at 8:10, but then made a mistake in receiving the serve and was succeeded by her opponent's backhand, giving up at 10:12. In the second game, Zheng Yijing led 5:1 at the beginning. Once chased to 7:6, she quickly recovered and regained the victory at 11:7; in the crucial third game, Huang Yuxi had a lucky tennis ball at 6 and scored 4 points in a row, and once again took the lead at 11:7.

Zheng Yijing blew the counterattack horn in the fourth game. She was behind 1:2 and launched an 8:1 counterattack to open up the lead and tie the game at 11:5. In the decisive game, she also scored 5 points in a row at 2:3. Huang Yubi once caught up to 7:5, but missed the backhand at the critical moment. Zheng Yijing succeeded in consecutive backhand attacks, and finally came back to win at 11:7.

Wang Yidi, ranked 5th in the world, fought hard for 5 games in the first round before settling against Austrian female player Bocanova 11:6, 10:12, 11:3, 13:15, 11:5.
