Journalists protest unauthorized use of their names by Ostdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung
Journalists Miray Caliskan and Martin Rücker have publicly distanced themselves from the Ostdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (OAZ) after the newspaper listed them as authors without their consent, implying they were current contributors to the newly founded publication. Both journalists previously worked for the Berliner Zeitung, which is also owned by Holger Friedrich's publishing house. The OAZ cited a technical error in its content management system for the misattributions.
