Alex Márquez and Johann Zarco sustained fractures in separate crashes at the Catalan Grand Prix, leading to the race being red-flagged twice. Both riders remain hospitalized.
The MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix was stopped after a major mid-race crash involving several leading riders. Alex Marquez collided with Pedro Acosta, causing Acosta to crash and Marquez's bike to break apart. Fabio Di Giannantonio also crashed after being hit by debris.
Defending MotoGP champion Marc Marquez will miss the rest of the French Grand Prix and next week's Catalan Grand Prix after fracturing his foot in a crash on Saturday.
