Newsgather

Content and Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

Newsgather is a news intelligence and aggregation platform designed to help users discover, understand and compare important news from multiple sources. This policy explains how we collect, display, summarize and manage news-related content.

1. Aggregation Approach

Newsgather aggregates news-related information from third-party sources and organizes it into categories, countries, languages and topics.

Where possible, we display the source name and provide a link to the original publisher.

Our goal is to help users discover relevant stories and direct traffic to original sources.

2. Source Attribution

We aim to provide clear source attribution for third-party news items.

Original articles, images, videos, names, logos, trademarks and publisher materials belong to their respective owners.

Newsgather does not claim ownership of third-party publisher content.

3. AI-Assisted Summaries and Analysis

Newsgather may use AI-assisted systems to:

• Generate short summaries. • Classify stories by topic or category. • Group related stories. • Detect language, country and source metadata. • Estimate relevance, popularity or impact. • Generate sentiment or context indicators. • Improve discoverability and user experience.

AI-generated outputs are informational and may contain errors. They should not be treated as final editorial judgement or professional advice.

4. Neutrality and Ranking

Newsgather does not aim to promote a specific political, commercial or ideological position.

News ranking may be influenced by several factors, including recency, source availability, user preferences, topic relevance, language, region, popularity signals and technical quality.

AI indicators and scores are supportive signals, not absolute truth.

5. Restricted or Removed Content

Newsgather may remove, restrict or avoid displaying content that:

• Is unlawful. • Infringes copyright, trademark or personality rights. • Contains illegal personal data disclosure. • Promotes violence, terrorism, hatred or severe harassment. • Contains malware, phishing, scams or security risks. • Is subject to a valid court order, government request or rights-holder notice. • Creates significant legal, safety or platform integrity risks.

6. Corrections, Removal and Opt-Out Requests

Publishers, rights holders, authorized representatives and affected individuals may request:

• Removal of a specific item. • Correction of source attribution. • Correction of an inaccurate AI summary. • Removal of personal data. • Review of copyright or trademark concerns. • Exclusion of a source or domain. • Review of misleading, harmful or outdated information.

Requests can be submitted through the Removal Request page or by email at:

[email protected]

7. Review Process

We aim to review valid removal, correction and rights-related requests within a reasonable time, usually within 3 business days.

Urgent legal requests, court orders or clearly unlawful content may be reviewed faster.

Incomplete, abusive, fraudulent or unauthorized requests may be rejected.

8. Publisher Cooperation

Newsgather supports responsible publishers and aims to help users discover original journalism.
