〔記者李文德/雲林報導〕台電近期更換使用了80年、由「一代草聖」于右任題字的公司名稱標準字LOGO,改為聶永真設計現代新版本字體,引發討論。不過有雲林民眾發現,斗六聖玫瑰天主堂至今仍完整保存于右任草書對聯,還有賈景德的楷書墨寶,兩人不僅同列近代中國書法四大名家,還擔任監察、考試院長,令教友驚喜不已。
根據天主堂刊物記載,教堂前身可追溯至1882年,由王靈牧與杭若望神父設立傳教所,1906年梅山大地震重創教堂,幾乎成為廢墟,1918年在菲律賓教會資助重建,1942年又因嘉義大地震毀損,經教友四處募款,1954年完成新建聖玫瑰天主堂。

教堂外牆有2組石刻對聯,內側「地堂久為初人閉,天路新憑聖子通」為清康熙皇帝所作,是賈景德以楷書題寫,而外側「無始無終先作形聲真主宰,宣仁宣義聿昭拯濟大權衡」及橫批「萬有真原」,是于右任手書行草。
教友江美慧指出,對新堂落成印象深刻,由梵蒂岡教廷駐華大使黎培理公使主持落成彌撒,當時就發現對聯是兩位「院長」題字,能請到兩人非常難得,猜測應是當時總主教、時任國大代表于斌牽線促成,因他曾到斗六演講,許多學生還列隊迎接。
教友李蜀瀛表示,教堂興建過程非常艱辛,全靠募款才得以完成,大家一點一滴湊錢捐贈,因此教友們對這些題字寶貝非常,20年前教堂外牆整修時,特別請師傅務必要小心將兩幅石刻對聯敲下保存,待整修完成後再砌回牆面。
對於台電更換題字一事,兩位教友都表示這些墨寶不只是書法而已,更是當年美好回憶,這些題字很寶貴,大家非常珍惜。
