北九州市と市教育委員会は12日、東部市税事務所の会計年度任用職員の女性(56)と市立南丘小の男性指導教諭(63)をそれぞれ酒気帯び運転をしたとして、懲戒免職処分にした。

市と市教委によると、女性は5月15日に職場の飲み会で飲酒後、公共交通機関で帰宅し就寝したが翌午前3時半ごろにスマートフォンがないことに気づき、遺失物届を出すため自家用車で小倉北署に向かった。手続きをした際に警察官から酒気を指摘された。

男性は5月25日午後6~8時、自宅で酒を飲み午後10時半に就寝。翌午前4時50分ごろ、自家用車で出勤中に警察から停車命令を受けた。

いずれも呼気検査で基準値を超えるアルコールが検出され酒気帯び運転で検挙された。男性の上司である校長(58)も監督責任として戒告処分とした。北九州市では車による飲酒運転は懲戒免職としている。【山下智恵】
