A military expert has proposed ways to protect Russian resorts from sea drones

To protect Russian resorts from attacks by maritime drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), it is necessary to install booms with metal nets. The measures necessary to prevent strikes were named by military expert Yuri Knutov, whose words are quoted by the newspaper Paragraph.

“There are special booms with metal nets. Although we must admit that these unmanned boats can even partially jump over them. But you can make a more flexible design that will allow you to have a network of this kind somewhere above the water, up to about a meter in height. It will interfere with the movement of the boat or lead to its explosion,” Knutov reasoned.

In addition, the analyst recalled that control over the safety of Russian embankments should be carried out by the coast guard services. In addition to them, air surveillance and patrolling of the water area by mobile fire groups on boats can also help protect the territory.
