Russia and Abkhazia will hold joint military exercises

Russia and Abkhazia will hold joint military exercises, which will take place from October 12 to 16. Their plan was approved by the President of the Republic Badra Gunba, the Apsnypress agency reports in its Telegram channel.

“Badra Gunba approved the plan for large-scale operational-tactical exercises (...) Constant readiness units, reservists of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces will take part in the exercises,” the message says.

Military personnel will practice the use of artillery, armored vehicles and aviation. In addition, the parties will practice the use of electronic warfare.
