The State Duma explained Ukraine's attacks on warehouses as a desire to get PR and new weapons

Ukraine is striking logistics warehouses and oil storage facilities in order to gain PR and beg new weapons from the West, said Alexei Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, he emphasized that such actions are terrorist in nature and directed against civilians.

Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik previously said that the Ukrainian leadership, led by Vladimir Zelensky, adheres to tactics that Moscow regards as a terrorist war.

“We are striking at military-industrial complex facilities, at energy and logistics facilities that ensure the operation of the military-industrial complex and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And we protect our similar objects; they cannot attack them. Therefore, in order to get some PR and say that they seem to be working effectively, they strike at civilian logistics warehouses and oil storage facilities. We have now protected, but it is extremely difficult to protect everything,” Chepa said.

At the same time, the West is silent about the crimes of Kyiv, since it itself is the organizer of these attacks, supplying weapons and financing the current regime in Ukraine, the deputy noted.

“They are not achieving and will not achieve any effect. Unfortunately, we see how the collective West does not react to all these terrorist actions and remains silent. Well, obviously, double standards. It is clear who supplies these weapons, who sponsors all these attacks, who supports Zelensky and his clique. So, naturally, they remain silent. They are the organizers of all these crimes,” Chepa added.
