The Houthi military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said, "The armed forces were able to carry out two military operations with two drones. The first targeted a sensitive target of the Saudi enemy at Najran airport, and the other targeted Aramco Najran." Saree added that the two operations successfully achieved their goals, noting that the two operations were a response to Saudi Arabia’s violation of the airspace of Saada Governorate with a drone. He stressed in his statement that the armed forces will continue to protect Yemen’s sovereignty from any penetration and stabilize this equation. On Wednesday, the spokesman announced that his forces now possess the strength that allows them to impose new “military equations” in the face of the Saudi-led coalition. In a statement, Saree revealed details of large-scale operations targeting Saudi oil ships and military concentrations, warning Riyadh of the consequences of any escalation. Within the framework of what he called the “siege with siege equation,” which came into effect from the announcement of the maritime navigation ban on Saudi Arabia last July 20 until August 19, Saree confirmed that the Yemeni forces imposed a tight siege preventing the passage of any Saudi ship. He explained that the forces targeted 8 Saudi oil ships (5 in the Red Sea and 3 in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea), in addition to preventing 48 oil ships from crossing and forcing them to return, 34 ships in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, and 14 ships in the Red Sea. The military spokesman indicated that the armed forces carried out 9 military operations targeting the Saudi interior, including Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, and Abha, in addition to oil supplies in the eastern region. He also stated that these strikes come in response to what he described as the "Saudi aggression" against Sana'a Airport and the port of Hodeidah, and to confirm the equation of protecting Yemeni sovereignty and preventing any air intrusions, especially in the governorates of Saada and Hajjah. In the context of "the equation of targeting Saudi concentrations wherever they are," Saree announced the implementation of 14 military operations against concentrations of Saudi forces and their allies in the areas of Al-Ruwaik, Al-Abr, Al-Wadiah, Ma'rib, and Al-Mokha, in addition to targeting ships and boats transporting equipment. He reported that these operations resulted in the death and injury of hundreds, including commanders and officers, in addition to the burning and destruction of military stores and equipment. He also announced the sinking and burning of two military landing ships that were transporting weapons and assemblies in Mokha, and more than 10 military boats that were carrying out “acts of piracy and plunder” in the Red Sea under Saudi directives. Saree issued a strong warning to the Saudi regime, stressing that "any comprehensive escalation will be met with a comprehensive escalation." He stressed that Riyadh has no choice but to "lift the siege and implement agreements that include ending the aggression, paying salaries, the departure of foreign forces, and leaving Yemen's wealth to its people." He also sent an appeal to the Yemeni fighters in the ranks of the forces loyal to the coalition, calling on them to “leave the enemy camps and return,” explaining that the Yemeni forces do not want to target them because they are “sons of one country” and warning them not to be a victim in this battle.
