The strike on the data centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces disrupted the communications of Ukrainian troops

A strike on one of the main Internet traffic exchange points for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) disrupted the communications and command and control system of Ukrainian troops, explained military expert Andriy Kolesnik. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, he noted that this is serious damage to the enemy and a plus for Russian forces.

“The defeat of the physical infrastructure of the Internet disrupts communications and interaction between troops. Without communication, the command loses control and confusion arises. We caused serious damage to Ukrainian troops by hitting the data centers that are home to the Internet. All communications are destroyed, including wireless Internet,” Kolesnik explained.

According to him, Ukraine now has big problems with the Internet. Kolesnik noted that Russian forces have seriously taken Kyiv and the decision-making centers, and this has already influenced the course of military operations in favor of Russia.
