Putin: Russia leads in oil and gas supplies to China

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation confidently ranks first in terms of the volume of supplies of oil and gas to Chinese consumers, and is among the leaders among exporters of coal and LNG. The head of state noted that joint development of technological innovations is underway aimed at increasing the efficiency and environmental safety of the processes of extraction, processing and transportation of hydrocarbons. The timely resolution of pressing issues of interaction in the fuel and energy sector, undoubtedly, is greatly facilitated by regular direct communication between representatives of relevant government departments, business and expert circles within the framework of the Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum.
