Having analyzed the company's clients' requests for compulsory motor liability insurance, insurers recorded a noticeable increase in road accidents with the onset of October. If in September 2023 the number of requests compared to August increased by only 4.8 percent, then in October the figure jumped by 11 percent compared to September. In 2024, September showed an increase of 2 percent, and October - 8.8 percent. 2025 was not so indicative: in September the number of applications increased by 1.7 percent, but October turned out to be warmer than usual, which is why it was not possible to track the dynamics. The peak of accidents occurs from November to March.

In light of the upcoming increase in the number of road accidents, insurers advise checking winter tires and windshield wipers, as well as treating door seals and locks before the arrival of cold weather. In addition, if necessary, it is recommended to replace the engine oil with a less viscous one.
