The Saudi King praises the National Day and recalls the solid foundations of the Kingdom

(CNN) - Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz published a blog post on his official account on the “X” platform, formerly Twitter, on the occasion of Saudi National Day, praising the solid foundations upon which the Kingdom was established to preserve the faith and establish justice.

The Saudi monarch’s account wrote on the platform, on Wednesday evening: “On National Day, we remember what this blessed state was established upon, thanks to God, and then with the determination and leadership of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman - may God rest his soul - and the hands of the loyal sons of the country, with solid foundations for preserving the faith and establishing justice.”

The Saudi king added: “We ask God to preserve our country’s security, stability and prosperity.”

Celebrations spread throughout the Kingdom over the past few days, on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates National Day on September 23 every year. The day has become the subject of great interest in recent years, as the Kingdom witnesses a wide range of celebratory events and activities.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior building was painted green in celebration of Saudi National Day, as it is considered one of the most prominent landmarks of the capital due to its attractive and distinctive engineering design, according to the Saudi “SPA” News Agency.
