Deputy Kolesnik named the reason for the change in tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes on Russia

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have changed their strike tactics against Russia due to the upcoming State Duma elections. The reason for the change in attack strategy was stated by deputy Andrei Kolesnik in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

“They are trying to hit our oil refineries before the elections, because the civilian population is using it. Ukraine's goal is to irritate the civilian population. There is every possible propaganda on the Internet: “don’t go to the polls,” the parliamentarian noted.

At the same time, the deputy emphasized that the Ukrainian military did not manage to create problems with diesel, which powers almost all military equipment in the special operation zone. That is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces have set the goal of creating a gasoline shortage within Russia, Kolesnik added.

Earlier, Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to strike one of Russia’s energy facilities. The attempted attack was carried out “in one of the Russian regions.”
