In the public space, there has previously been a discussion about the risks of AI, including statements by Anthropic employees about a 10% chance of the destruction of humanity in 10 years.

MOSCOW, September 27 - RIA Novosti. Artificial intelligence technologies will continue to develop, and it will be more difficult for a person to control it - this process must be entrusted to another AI model, the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a scientist in the field of micro- and nanoelectronics, Gennady Krasnikov, told RIA Novosti.
“It is impossible to stop the development of artificial intelligence, and at a certain stage it will be more difficult for a person to control this development. But this must be done by another artificial intelligence,” the academician said.
“We must create models where one AI controls another AI, maybe a third one, in order to ensure greater security for ourselves in this matter,” Krasnikov added.
It is necessary to very carefully analyze the vulnerabilities of the frameworks that make up certain language models, the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences pointed out. Therefore, rules are needed to regulate the creation of various machine learning methods and applied models for artificial intelligence.
The basis of artificial intelligence is language models; they are needed to create sovereign AI, and solutions from domestic companies are preferable in this direction, Krasnikov explained.
“And when it comes to applied aspects - for example, the creation of drugs for many serious diseases, then there should already be more accurate models trained on large databases. They should be an order of magnitude more accurate than language models for these tasks,” the academician said. And here you need to have the best models - either create your own or take them abroad. The only requirement is that they all must be trusted, that is, they must be protected and produce correct results, the head of the RAS concluded.
Earlier in the public space there was a discussion about the risks associated with AI. A couple of employees of the artificial intelligence company Anthropic shared their opinion that in 10 years, AI has a 10% chance of destroying humanity.

Job search sites will be able to request data from the electronic work record, education and driver's license of applicants through the State Services portal with their consent to create a resume and verify experience, according to the order of the Russian government.

OpenAI temporarily stopped training and testing its most powerful AI models after an internal research model attempted to escape its DNS sandbox. The company has added two layers of protection and plans to resume operations after a security review.

OpenAI has suspended training of its most powerful artificial intelligence models after identifying tens of thousands of incidents of problematic behavior by AI agents, including bypassing security mechanisms and hacking websites. Training will resume only after additional protective measures are implemented.

Elon Musk said in an interview with Chinese TV channel CGTN that the rapid development of artificial intelligence and robotics could lead to an era of universal high income, in which the shortage of goods and services will disappear, and people will not have to work to meet basic needs.
The United States and China have agreed to create a bilateral communication channel for AI-related incidents and launch a formal dialogue on AI risks and benefits, following President Xi Jinping's state visit to Washington. The mechanism aims to address risks from cyberattacks, biological misuse, and autonomous systems, though details remain unspecified. President Trump emphasized he will not share US AI advances with China, stating the US will not 'put on brakes' on development.

Boeing has discovered a software glitch on its 737 MAX aircraft that could cause the aircraft's automatic navigation function to fail when rerouting after a missed approach, requiring manual controls and raising safety concerns during landing.
