Wu Zongxian, the candidate for Yilan County Mayor of the Kuomintang, held an inauguration meeting of the campaign headquarters today (27th). Party Chairman Zheng Liwen and others criticized the new trend of the Democratic Progressive Party. Lin Guozhang, candidate for Yilan County Mayor of the Democratic Progressive Party, responded that the Democratic Progressive Party’s past governance performance is obvious to all walks of life and there is no need to use pathos or hatred-based offensive and defensive methods.

Lin Guozhang held the "Yilan Good Lord Zhang" county government briefing in Luodong, Dongshan and Jiaoxi this afternoon. When interviewed, he said that after he decided to run for the election, he would not think about whether blue and white would cooperate. He would adopt a step-by-step approach and rely on his own strength and political opinions to win the recognition of the majority of Yilan County residents.

The outside world estimates that the split of Blue and White Zhubei may affect the elections in other counties and cities? Lin Guozhang said that no matter whether it is the Kuomintang, the People's Party, or neutral voters without party membership, as long as they agree with the votes of local development, he will fight for them with all his strength.

Lin Guozhang also shouted to supporters at the "Yilan Good Lord Zhang" county government briefing that the county magistrate's position is not a personal position of power, but a major responsibility. If he is elected, he will go all out to take care of all county residents and use positive force to achieve victory.
