Lavrov announces the restoration of Russian rights in Donbass and Novorossia and reveals the liberation of Kurtovka

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday that everything necessary is being done to ensure Russia's security and restore the rights of the Russian people in Donbass and Novorossiya.

“We are making every effort to ensure the fulfillment of constitutional obligations, ensure Russia’s security, and restore the rights of the Russian people in Crimea, Donbass and Novorossiya,” Lavrov said during a meeting between the president and leaders of the United Russia party list for the Duma elections.

He added: "We seek to restore the rights of the Russian people even in the rest of the territories currently under the control of the Kiev regime."

Lavrov stressed that the Kiev regime "blatantly violated the linguistic and religious rights of the Russian people."

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported earlier today, Saturday, that the “Southern” group of forces liberated the town of Kurtovka in Donetsk, while Russian forces continued to target sensitive infrastructure used by the Ukrainian army.
