Eleven automakers changed car prices in Russia in August

Eleven automakers immediately changed the prices of their cars in Russia, and only two brands adjusted the price downward, writes Autostat.

In the first half of August, changes affected nine brands, only one - BAIC - made cars more affordable. Among those who increased prices were Evolute, Geely, Hongqi, Jaecoo, Jeland, Sollers, Amberauto and Tenet.

Among Geely cars, the Okavango has risen in price the least, the price tag of which has increased by 17 thousand rubles. The Coolray model in the only “Exclusive” version added 35 thousand. The Monjaro crossover in the “Flagship” configuration has become 50 thousand more expensive. Cityray showed the greatest growth within the brand. Its cost has increased by 60–80 thousand rubles.

The most significant increase in price was recorded for the Amberauto A5 electric sedan. In the initial Comfort configuration, its price increased by 750 thousand rubles, in the Business version - by 725 thousand.

The electric crossover Evolute i-JOY has become 150 thousand rubles more expensive. Sollers raised the price of the SF1 model by 100 thousand. This affected both the passenger and cargo versions.

The premium sedan Hongqi H9 has increased in price by 50 thousand rubles. The Tenet T4L crossover in the basic Active version has risen in price by 20 thousand. The minimum prices for the Jaecoo J6 and Jeland J6 crossovers have been increased by 10 thousand. In both cases, the change affected only the initial Active package.

The only brand that reduced prices at the beginning of August was BAIC. Its U5 Plus sedan fell in price by 380-410 thousand rubles.

In the second half of the month, from August 16 to August 31, four companies revised their price lists, including Belgee, Geely, Haval and Jaecoo. At the same time, we are talking about a price reduction only in one case, and Geely and Jaecoo changed the price of cars for the second time in a month.

Geely, which had already increased prices for four models at the beginning of the month, added another 15 thousand rubles to the cost of Cityray, Coolray and Okavango in the second half of August.

If in the first half of August the Jaecoo J6 model added 10 thousand rubles, then at the end of the month the J8 crossover, on the contrary, fell in price in two out of three trim levels. The “Prestige” version lost 100 thousand rubles, and the “Prestige+” version became immediately more accessible by 200 thousand.

Belgee increased the cost of the S50 sedan and X70 crossover by 30 thousand rubles. Haval also raised prices by 50 thousand on the H3, Jolion and M6 models in the Optimum configuration with a manual transmission.
