Legislative Yuan Han Guoyu presided over the meeting on the 27th, and the central government's general budget for next year was also successfully submitted to the committee for review.

Executive President Zhuo Rongtai went to the Legislative Yuan today to report on the preparation process of the "2016 Central Government General Budget" and for consultation. The budget preparation covers six major areas, including 1.1225 billion yuan in defense funding, 235.7 billion yuan in universal funds, 39.2 billion yuan in salary upgrades for military, civil and educational personnel, and 39.2 billion yuan in retired military, public and educational pensions. After the Legislative Yuan's inquiry earlier, Legislative Yuan Han Guoyu announced that the central government's general budget for 2016, including the budget of affiliated units and the operating and non-operating parts of the comprehensive statement, will be submitted to the Finance Committee for review in accordance with the allocation table and schedule.

The Legislative Yuan held a meeting today and invited Executive President Zhuo Rongtai, Comptroller General Chen Shuzi, and Finance Minister Zhuang Cuiyun to attend and report on the preparation process of the "116 Central Government General Budget" and prepare for questions.

After the questioning in the afternoon, the chairman of the meeting, Han Guoyu, announced that the inquiry on the 116-year central government general budget has been completed. President Xie Zhuo and the heads of relevant ministries and commissions attended to answer the questions. The council will now make the following decisions: 1. However, looking back at the deliberation process of the 2015 Central Government General Budget, the Executive Yuan submitted the 2015 Central Government General Budget to the Legislative Yuan for review in late last year. The Legislative Yuan failed to complete the review by the end of last year in accordance with the law. It was delayed until August 14 this year before the third reading was passed. The review process lasted 351 days, which also set an example for constitutional governance.
