[Reporter Xu Zhengyang/New Taipei Report] The Fubon Titans braved the rain to fight in the overtime today. In the 10th inning, Wei Quanlong scored a key lead. Although the bases were loaded with 2 outs in the bottom of the 10th inning, Zhang Yucheng suffered a bye strikeout. Fubon lost to Weiquan 1:2. The battle for second place in the year's record officially ended, and it was determined that the Unified Lions would get the playoff ticket.

Fubon scored the lead in the second inning thanks to Lin Dai'an's timely double, and Wei Quan tied the game in the fifth inning thanks to Chen Zihao's hit. The two teams entered the overtime tie at 1:1. After two outs in the tenth inning, Wei Quan took the lead for the first time thanks to Ran Haoyu's hit. Fubon finally counterattacked in the tenth inning. After two outs, Lin Zebin chose a walk to make the bases full, but Zhang Yucheng was struck out by Lin Ziyu.

Messi's 116 pitches was the most in a single game in his career. He allowed 4 hits and 1 non-earned run in 7 innings, and his ERA dropped to 1.79. Due to a 1:1 tie when he left the game, his winning pitch stopped at 10 wins this season and failed to tie Rogo. He was definitely out of the running for the winning pitching title. Zhang Yi pitched 1 game without scoring and got his 23rd relay success this season. He was only one behind Gao Xiao Jiangshu and still had a chance to compete for the relay king.
