Wang Guangxia, chairman of AOI giant Mude (3563), said on the 30th that as applications such as AI servers, high-performance computing and high-speed transmission continue to develop, the demand for testing related to high-end PCBs, MSAPs, ABF carrier boards and semiconductor advanced packaging has been boosted. "This year is still in the early stages of operational growth." CEO Chen Fusheng also revealed that order visibility has exceeded one year, and there are even customers who want to negotiate orders for more than three years.

Wang Guangxia pointed out that this year’s AI-related revenue, including semiconductors, optical modules and AI servers, has accounted for 70%, and will increase to 80% to 90% next year. As new semiconductor products pass tests one after another, related layouts will bear fruit next year, and operations will be much better than this year.

From the perspective of the four major applications, Chen Fusheng said that semiconductors and carrier boards currently have the strongest growth, while optical modules and MSAPs rank second. Leading customers of optical modules have purchased Mud-related equipment. As customers continue to expand production, related businesses are expected to grow significantly, and AI servers are expected to grow next year. In the past, the consumer market revenue accounted for about 15%, and this year it will be reduced to less than 10%.

Chen Fusheng pointed out that the semiconductor packaging and testing business is still in the growth stage. As new products continue to complete customer verification and introduction, order visibility will increase multiple times and will gradually become an important growth engine.

Wang Guangxia said that in the face of the rapid development of the AI ​​industry and the continuous advancement of electronic manufacturing processes, now is the time for a qualitative change in Mu De. As equipment becomes more and more expensive and sophisticated, operators' thinking must also change in order to promote equipment quality upgrades.
