Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo's "Study Classroom" and "Forest Inn" are newly opened, offering free admission to the park for Halloween costumes on October 31st and November 1st.

Tourism Director Gao Minlin said that the zoo is not only a place to learn about animals, but also an important base for promoting environmental education to the public and cultivating the concept of animal conservation. In addition to repairing and updating equipment, the space renovation project also re-planned the overall space to better meet the learning needs of different age groups for communication and interaction.

The interpretation and education center has been completed and opened recently. The design concept is based on forest greenery and nature, with ecological walls, education promotion display areas and light and shadow corridors planned, and it is officially named "Forest Inn".

The "Shared Learning Classroom" adjacent to the park service center is designed with diversified learning, achievement display and indoor and outdoor space connection as its design focus. In addition to adding projection equipment and display shelves, the walls are also changed to floor-to-ceiling folding doors, allowing the enclosed indoor space to be further extended and connected to the outdoor plaza, expanding the usable range of activities and increasing flexibility and practical functions. In the future, it will be used for camp students, parent-child interaction during holidays, animal conservation promotion and education, volunteer training activities, park tours and conferences.

To welcome Halloween, Shoushan Zoo integrated the characters of the park's cute animal IP "Shou Q Family" into the space design and officially opened the "Forest Inn" and "Shared Learning Classroom". Last week, the Shoushan Zoo held a "Shoushan Cute Ghost Party" event in the Sharing Classroom that combined a Halloween art market, handicraft courses and driftwood art experience, attracting more than 10,000 visitors in two days.

On October 31st and November 1st, the park will continue to offer free Halloween costume discounts. People can enter the park for free as long as they dress up in special costumes or wear Halloween accessories. They can also take photos with the appropriate art installations at the entrance of the "Study Together Classroom" to feel the festive atmosphere. Information about relevant activities can be found on the Shoushan Zoo Facebook fan page.
