Leihu joins hands with partners to build 10-inch FPV drone to win DDP order from US Pentagon

Leihu Technology participated in the Association of the United States Army's annual exhibition (AUSA 2026), showcasing a special 10-inch FPV drone jointly developed with Taiwan's The Rehfeldt Group and the United States' Farage Precision, presenting the results of the cooperation between the three parties in the U.S. Department of Defense's Drone Dominance Program (DDP).

Lei Hu said that he will continue to deepen cooperation with Laifu Group and Farage Precision, jointly evaluate participation opportunities and potential orders in the third and fourth phases of DDP, and actively expand other FPV and drone markets around the world.

Leihu said that this cooperation combines the advantages of the three parties. Leihu provides UAV research and development, system integration and mass production manufacturing capabilities. All products use components certified by the US Blue UAS and NDAA standards; Farage Group has long been deeply involved in Taiwan and has a long history with Taiwan's national defense units and has profound industrial experience; Farage Precision has a close relationship with the U.S. military, and technicians with actual combat experience provide practical application feedback and technical guidance to help adjust the aircraft to a state that can be directly put into combat. At the same time, it understands the needs of the U.S. and promotes evaluation, delivery, and market development.

Leihu said that through this cooperation, Leihu has established a complete cycle of "research and development, practical feedback, correction, and mass production". Product specifications are based on front-line user needs, rather than just laboratory testing. This capability can directly feed back to the domestic drone industry and support the establishment of the national military’s drone combat capabilities.

Lei Hu pointed out that the three-party team previously participated in the first phase of DDP evaluation under the name of Farage Precision and won the 11th place and the first batch of 1,520 orders. Currently, all deliveries and acceptances have been completed, demonstrating the execution capabilities from R&D, evaluation to mass production delivery, laying the foundation for expanding the US market.
