Wang Xinwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province, and Pang Xiaogang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, delivered opening speeches. In the keynote speech session, Zhou Ji, director of the National Strategic Advisory Committee for the Construction of a Manufacturing Power and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, analyzed and elaborated on the main paths to promote comprehensive innovation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and the strategic priorities for the next ten years with the theme of "Accelerating the Construction of a Manufacturing Power with New Generation Intelligent Manufacturing as the Main Direction." Li Yizhong, former minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, put forward several major directions in the industrial economy that require urgent attention in his speech "Strong Confidence, Face Difficulties and Promote the Industrial Economy to a New and Better Way", and pointed out that enterprises should focus on the national strategic deployment to adhere to intelligence, greenness, and integration, and implement it at all levels of the industrial economy, coordinate the relationship between development and safety, and build a strong barrier to safe production. Xiong Meng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Federation of Industry and Economics, presided over the forum.
During the results release session, Liu Chenglin, leader of the China Industrial Data Governance Project Team, released the results of the 2026 China Industrial Data Governance “Front Runner” companies.
