BELGOROD, September 25 - RIA Novosti. Since the beginning of September, units of the 11th Army Corps of the "North" group have destroyed more than 50 antennas and Starlink satellite stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov region, identifying them day and night by unmasking and heat signature, the commander of the BPS 11 AK unit with the call sign Kharon told RIA Novosti.

“Specialists of unmanned systems of the 11th Army Corps of the North group of forces have destroyed more than 50 antennas and Starlink satellite stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of September in the Kharkov region... Antennas and Starlink satellite stations were detected both during the daytime and at night due to unmasking and an emitted thermal signature,” the commander said.

He added that aerial reconnaissance crews detect targets and transmit coordinates to command posts and attack drones. The defeat is inflicted by drones and artillery using high-explosive fragmentation warheads and release systems.

According to him, the lack of communication systems disorganizes the enemy: he is left without commanders who could warn or give orders for defense. In addition, such objects show the location of command posts and UAV control points. Their destruction allows for future strikes and knocking out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions, Kharon emphasized.
