Announcing its decision, the court sentenced the defendant O.E. to 18 years in prison for "aggravated sexual abuse of a child". The sentence was increased to 33 years and 9 months because the victim was under 12 years old and the threat and action occurred more than once.

The sentence was reduced to 30 years on the grounds that, by law, the penalty for a crime requiring imprisonment cannot exceed 30 years. No discretionary reduction was applied to the defendant's sentence.

The court decided to issue a warrant for the defendant's arrest.

The complainant's lawyer, Fatma Hande Amioğlu, told reporters after the hearing that the incident came to light when the child told his guidance counselor what he had experienced. Stating that the victim child tried to hide the crime many times because he was afraid of the defendant, Amioğlu said, "When his statement was taken with the pedagogues at the Child Monitoring Center, all the facts were revealed. Thus, the trial was concluded."

Anne S.S. He stated that he had two children, one of whom was a girl, from his previous marriage, and that they met the defendant years later and started living together in a religious marriage.

Explaining that she learned about the situation through a phone call from Antalya Police Department Children's Branch, the mother said, "My daughter told the guidance counselor about the events she experienced. The guidance teacher informs the Children's Branch. The Children's Branch called me and I started the judicial process." he said.

The mother stated that she did not give up her complaint despite the pressure applied by the defendant, and that she was kidnapped and beaten by the defendant during the case process, and said:

"There were trials regarding this, and I was sentenced to prison for crimes such as deprivation of liberty and violence. I lost my home and everything, but I stood behind my child until the end. It was a harrowing war for my child and me.

Finally, thanks to my lawyer and the evidence, we proved it. No one should experience what I experienced. This decision should set an example, no one should lay a hand on anyone's child. "Fortunately, there is justice and fortunately this state has prosecutors."
