MOSCOW, September 9 - RIA Novosti. The TKB-1167 anti-drone system, presented for the first time at an exhibition in Egypt, is already on combat duty and shoots down real targets, the press service of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec state corporation told reporters.

The world premiere of the new system took place on Wednesday during the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.

“Today TKB-1167 is on combat duty and shoots down real targets,” the message says.

It is noted that in the context of UAV attacks, the new system shows an excellent response speed to a threat from the air and in a very short time can go from detecting a target to being ready to defeat.

The TKB-1167 system is designed to cover the near zone of infrastructure facilities. It represents the last line of defense and can intercept air threats at close range when seconds count. Detection, capture of a drone and transmission of target designations to machine gun installations in the system are automated; the operator can only make a decision to destroy the target.

TKB-1167 is capable of destroying small targets flying at low altitudes, which are a difficult target for traditional anti-aircraft systems. The system can be integrated with external radar stations, optical-electronic detection systems and other systems operating in a common air defense system. TKB-1167 not only receives information from other means, but also supplements the overall picture of the air situation with its data.

For quick transfer between objects and changing firing positions, TKB-1167 can be installed on mobile wheeled platforms. The design of the system is focused on operation by calculations without in-depth engineering training; training for SPVC calculations requires minimal time due to the automation of most processes.
