In a road accident in the Novosibirsk region, 12 people were injured and one died.

Three victims are in serious condition, eight are in moderate condition, one refused hospitalization.

The police have opened a case for violating traffic rules and the truck driver has been detained.

NOVOSIBIRSK, September 5 – RIA Novosti. Three of the 12 victims in a major accident with a minibus near Novosibirsk are in serious condition, eight people are in moderate condition, the regional ministry of health told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the regional prosecutor's office reported that 12 people, according to preliminary data, were injured and one died in an accident in the Novosibirsk region involving a truck and a minibus in the Toguchinsky district. Investigators from the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case regarding the provision of unsafe services. Later, the police opened a case for violating traffic rules and the truck driver was arrested.

“Of the 12 victims, three are in serious condition. Eight people, including children, are in a moderate condition. One victim was examined at the scene of the accident, but refused hospitalization,” the regional Ministry of Health reported based on the results of an examination of victims in medical institutions

The ministry recalled that one person died as a result of the accident. This is a minibus driver.
