In a kindergarten in Kaliningrad, 12 children fell ill with salmonellosis

KALININGRAD, September 8 - RIA Novosti. The prosecutor's office began an inspection in a kindergarten in Kaliningrad, where 12 children fell ill with salmonellosis, the press service of the regional department reports.

On Tuesday, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor reported that 12 children fell ill with salmonellosis in kindergarten No. 76 in the city of Kaliningrad, nine people were hospitalized in an infectious diseases hospital, and the work of the institution was suspended.

In the kindergarten, samples were taken for laboratory research (raw materials, products, environmental washouts) and a staff examination was carried out. The research is carried out by the Federal Budgetary Institution "Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Kaliningrad Region".
