Exports of industrial products from Moscow to Belarus increased by 12%

MOSCOW, September 30 – RIA Novosti. Exports of the capital's industrialists' products to Belarus in the first half of 2026 increased by 12% compared to the same period last year; the state is one of the city's main partners, said Deputy Moscow Mayor for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

Thus, representatives of Moscow enterprises will go on a business mission to Minsk, it will take place from September 30 to October 2. There they will show their products to potential customers and negotiate deliveries.

As Liksutov noted, the capital is helping export-oriented enterprises enter foreign markets on behalf of the capital’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin.

“Belarus is one of the strategic directions for Moscow industrialists. In the first half of 2026, they increased exports to the republic by 12 percent compared to the same period last year. Capital manufacturers mainly supply there products from the food industry, power engineering, educational equipment, packaging, as well as additive printing machines,” the press service of the capital’s department of investment and industrial policy quotes Liksutov as saying.

Last year, exports of products from capital manufacturers to Belarus increased by 37% compared to the same period in 2024.

“Metropolitan enterprises will be able to conclude new deals or export for the first time as part of this business mission during the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus." The delegation includes nine Moscow companies from the fields of mechanical engineering and machine tools, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, and the food industry," said Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.

One of the participants in the business mission was the manufacturer of greenhouse complexes "Laboratory of Engineering Systems". With the support of the Mosprom export support center, the company was able to sign contracts last year for the supply of products to Belarusian agricultural enterprises.

Another participant in the business mission, LG Automation, produces control and shut-off valves, drives and attachments. Wright Electronics, a contract manufacturer of electronics in Moscow, will also join the negotiations.

The organization of the meetings will be financed by the Mosprom export support center, created in 2019 to provide services in the field of support, development and popularization of investment activities, industrial exports and exports of agricultural products. It supports more than 1.3 thousand enterprises.
