This year’s Taiwan Krashu women’s team is led by Li Wanting, who is experienced in international competitions, last year’s East and Southeast Asia International Championships gold medalist Wang Pinchun, Asian Championship silver medalists Yang Yajun and Shi Liuliling.

Today, Wang Pinchun first defeated a Turkmen player in the top 16 of the women's 57kg category, and then defeated Iran's Tahereh Azarpeyvand 5:0 in the top 8. She successfully entered the top four and won at least a bronze medal. It was also the delegation's first kraft medal this year.

Another Taiwanese female player Li Wanting also made her debut in the same weight class.
