The National Day Gala moves to New Taipei for the first time, where diverse cultures and music gather on "the world's stage"

This year's National Day Gala, with the theme of "The World's Stage: Gathering in Taiwan", was held today (9th) at the No. 1 Sports Stadium in Banqiao, New Taipei City, attracting many people to participate in the event.

President Lai Ching-te, Chairman of the National Day Preparatory Committee and Legislative Yuan Hanguo-yu, Executive President Zhuo Rongtai, Minister of the Interior Liu Shifang, New Taipei City Mayor Hou Youyi and others attended to celebrate the national ceremony with the people. Starting from the afternoon, the welcome activities will take place first. During the party, entertainers from my country, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and other countries will perform in turn. Multi-ethnic cultures gather on the "world stage" of the National Day Gala.

The New Taipei City Government pointed out that the National Day Gala performances included New Taipei's local art array, multi-ethnic culture, Indonesian indie rock, Taiwan-Korea music exchange and Japanese classic pop music. More than 10,000 people gathered in New Taipei City to share the lively atmosphere in the intersection of music and culture. The wonderful performances made the audience intoxicated.

The party activities range from daytime to evening. The welcome event "New Taipei Kaleidoscope" that starts in the afternoon combines a market, handicraft workshops and multi-stage performances, with teams such as the Hongwa National Dance Troupe, Tianqin Dance Art Troupe, Thai American Dance Troupe, Mudflat Land Ronin, and Chenle Hall taking the stage in succession. The Tianma Opera Creation Troupe also presented a parent-child interactive circus.

The party kicked off with the "Street Performance Array - Local New Taipei City" by the new generation of hip-hop singer HowZ and the T.S.D Iron Sidi Culture and Art Creative Team. Then, the Hakka Hakka singer Huang Zixuan joined hands with the New Taipei City Symphony Orchestra and the New Taipei City Youth Choir to reinterpret the classic song "Rainy Night Flowers" and the Hakka version of "God Bless Taiwan" with orchestral music. 12 New Taipei City sports elites entered the venue holding the flag and continued to sing the national anthem.

Artist Amanda Liu Jifan also performed with the Jaguars competitive cheerleading team, as well as popular aboriginal singer SANGPUY and Dance Space Dance Company, Soft and Hard Times and drag queens. Singer "Three Sisters" Jiang Shuna and the Longtan Philharmonic Orchestra appeared on the stage to sing "Happy Ranch" and "Treasure Island Mambo".

In the international artist section, there are Indonesian indie pop rock band Grrrl Gang, hit musician Zheng Yinong, Korean singer-songwriter Lee Tak, and the New Taipei City Symphony Orchestra performing together. Japanese singer Daikoku Moki made her final appearance to sing the ending theme of the classic animation "Slam Dunk" "I Only Stare at You", evoking youthful memories across generations.
