15 children killed in Lucknow building fire: Detailed analysis report

15 children died and five were injured in a fire in a building in Aliganj, Lucknow. The incident took place at the coaching centre, which had a pet shop on the ground floor and a gaming zone on the upper floor. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced an assistance amount of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The Prime Minister's Office has also announced an assistance amount of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand to the injured.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire brigade team reached the spot at least 40 minutes after the fire broke out. Many people have criticized the slowness of the fire brigade team.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav have expressed grief over the incident and sought to ensure best medical treatment for the injured.
