Alexey Lazutin incited the murder of the director of the technical school in Lyubertsy, Vadim Menis, due to personal hostility.

On October 10, 2002, Mikhail Kolosov shot and killed Menis and also wounded two other men.

The court sentenced Kolosov to 17 years, Gusev to 9 years, and Lazutin to 11 years in a maximum security colony.

MOSCOW, September 30 - RIA Novosti. The instigator, killer and accomplice in the murder of the director of a technical school in Lyubertsy near Moscow, Vadim Menis, received real prison terms, the regional prosecutor's office told RIA Novosti.

Alexey Lazutin demanded that a member of a criminal gang organize the murder of the director of the Technical School named after Yu.A. Gagarin in Lyubertsy Menis because of personal hostile relations. Mikhail Kolosov was hired as the executor, and Andrei Gusev was assigned as his accomplice. On October 10, 2002, Kolosov shot Menis with a pistol, and then wounded two men who ran up to help. A few months later, he carried out another order, killing a man and his friend.

“Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor of the Lyubertsy city prosecutor’s office, the court sentenced Kolosov to 17 years in prison... Gusev to 9 years in prison... Lazutin to 11 years in prison,” the press service of the prosecutor’s office reported.

All of them will have to serve their sentences in a maximum security colony.
