Hsinchu Mayor Gao Hong-an, who is running for re-election, has established a presidential election. Kuomintang Chairman Cheng Lai-wen shook hands with People's Party founding chairman Ko Wenzhe and chairman Huang Guochang one by one. She shouted that the KMT "has nothing to hide and has no reservations" and supported Gao Hong-an, who "has surpassed Blue and White" for re-election. Ko Wenzhe praised Gao as a "natural leader" and predicted that she would "influence Taiwan's history in the future."

In her speech, Zheng Liwen said that she and Gao Hongan were colleagues in the Legislative Yuan in the past. Gao Hongan later entered the political arena from the technology world and ran for mayor of Hsinchu. He even faced "turbulent waves" that he had never expected in his past life.

Zheng Liwen said that in the past four years, Gao Hongan has faced "the ruthless destruction, pursuit, rumors, smear and suppression of the state machine", but he has not neglected the municipal government. What she admires most is Gao Hongan's calmness and self-control in the face of pressure, step by step to get to where he is today. She believes that the force that supports Gao Hongan's progress is the belief that "Hsinchu needs her" and she also finds her original intention in politics from promoting feedback from the municipal government and citizens.

"She has surpassed Blue and White." Zheng Liwen emphasized that today's support for Gao Hong'an is to ask what kind of political culture Taiwanese people want and what the meaning of elections is. She emphasized that although Gao Hongan is not a member of the Kuomintang, "for the country, for justice, for democratic values, and for the future of Hsinchu City," the Kuomintang should put aside party selfishness; the Kuomintang team has "no secrets and no reservations" and will wholeheartedly and 100% support Gao Hongan's re-election.

In the end, Cheng Lai-wen said that although Hsinchu is small, it is "a place that protects the sacred mountain that protects the country." He even bluntly said that recommending Gao Hong'an as the mayor of Hsinchu, "it will affect the history of Taiwan in the future" and hoped that Hsinchu City's successful experience could spread to other countries.

Huang Guochang said that what he admires most about Gao Hongan is not only his professionalism and ability, but also the fact that he built a strong city government team from "Gao Hongan alone". Even if he temporarily left the mayor's position due to a judicial case, the team still "did not retreat a step" in promoting the city government.
