The 17th Golden Sound Creation Awards will be held in October and the GIMA LIVE performance lineup announced

The 17th Golden Sound Creation Awards will be held at the Taipei Pop Music Center on October 31. The chairman of the jury this year is Cosmoman bassist Fang Q. The series of music performances "2026 GIMA LIVE" is scheduled to be held at the Corner Max Multi-Function Exhibition Hall on October 21 and 22. It will also be the final stage for the "Live Performance Award" finalists to compete.

Teenagers from Gongguan will also be guest performers at "GIMA LIVE".

The finalists for the "Live Performance Award" of this year's Golden Sound Awards include rapper Flowstrong, cross-border music team That's My Shhh, folk psychedelic electronic rock band Mong Tong, hip-hop talent limited group Gummy B

South Korean female creative singer Kangziwon will come to Taiwan to participate in the Golden Sound Awards series of performances.

In addition to the singers or bands who are shortlisted for the "Live Performance Award", the two-day program of "GIMA LIVE" will also invite two groups of Taiwan's most popular "potential new voices" Lu Yun and Gongguan teenagers to perform. In addition, Kangziwon, a creative female singer from the South Korean independent music circle who has served as an arranger and music producer for IU and SEVENTEEN, will also come to Taiwan to give her first overseas solo stage performance.

Lu Yun felt like he had succeeded in chasing stars.

Lu Yun regarded Kangziwon as her "idol" and admitted that he took the initiative to write to her and invited her to arrange the music for his single "Time Zone", and they hit it off immediately. "At that time, I heard Kangziwon did the string arrangement for IU's "I Stan U" and thought it was very nice. I indirectly recognized this very powerful Korean musician! After listening to her works and performance videos, I felt that her instrumental playing and post-production abilities were very strong, so I decided to cooperate with her."

This time Lu Yun and Kangziwon will co-star, and they have turned from netizens into comrades. Lu Yun said with a smile: "There is an attitude of meeting idols, which can be said to be successful in chasing stars." Kangziwon praised Lu Yun: "Considerate and considerate of others."

Both days of "GIMA LIVE" will be open for free ticket collection. Online ticket collection will be available at iNDIEVOX at 12 noon on October 9th.
