American negotiators leave Poland after concluding a tour that included Moscow and Kiev

This came at the end of a diplomatic tour that began with a visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, first.

The TASS news agency reported, citing sources at Zichov International Airport, that the plane belonging to the American negotiators took off heading west at 08:04 local time (09:04 Moscow time).

This plane had landed in the Polish city of Jeszów coming from Moscow on Sunday night, immediately after Russian President Vladimir Putin received the American envoys. From there, Witkoff and Kushner moved overland by train to Kiev, and returned in the same way to Zhisov before departing by air.

In a related context, a former TASS source in the European Union air surveillance services indicated that the American negotiators used, for the first time since the start of their visits to Russia, a government aviation plane instead of the usual business planes.

The trip to Moscow, and then back to Gezhov, took place on a private Boeing C-32A plane, which is one of the planes usually designated for transporting heads of state and senior officials, which reflects the special and precise importance of this diplomatic tour.

It is noteworthy that President Putin met with Witkov and Kushner on Saturday in the Kremlin, where Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov said after the meeting that the two sides discussed possible ways to settle the Ukrainian conflict, describing the talks as “fruitful and characterized by trust.”

Ushakov added that during the meeting, Putin stressed the need to remove the root causes of the conflict, and also presented a clear assessment of the situation in the special military operation area, noting the progress of Russian forces.
