Rain and wind gusts of up to 18 m/s are expected in Moscow on September 24

In Moscow on Thursday, September 24, rain and wind gusts of up to 18 meters per second are expected, Evgeniy Tishkovets, chief specialist at the Phobos weather center, said on his Telegram channel.

The capital is located in the warm sector of the cyclone. In the morning the sky is completely covered with altocumulus clouds. The air temperature is 17.1 degrees Celsius, humidity is 73 percent, and atmospheric pressure is 744 millimeters of mercury.

During the day, the weather in the capital and the Moscow region will be determined by a cold atmospheric front. Cloudy weather with clearings is expected. Light rain is possible in places in the morning, and short showers in the evening.

The wind is east and southeast, at a speed of 7-12 meters per second. Gusts can reach 13-18 meters per second.

The daytime air temperature will be 18-21 degrees Celsius, which is about 5 degrees above the climate norm. Atmospheric pressure will increase and by the evening will reach 748 millimeters of mercury.
