The suspect was arrested in May 2023 on suspicion of defrauding two male business owners in Nagoya City by approaching them with the idea of ​​investing on SNS and having them transfer a total of 150 million yen to an account in the name of Probiz.

According to the Second Investigative Division, Niiya sent approximately 90 million yen of the money to AirTrip and used approximately 28 million yen to purchase stock acquisition rights for himself.
