The exit to the Black Sea through the Dnieper-Bug estuary is blocked by the Russian military, said the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

Shipping in the Black Sea basin, including along the Dnieper, has practically stopped, according to Saldo.

MOSCOW, September 15 – RIA Novosti. Ukraine has lost access to the Black Sea through the Dnieper-Bug estuary, the passage of ships there is blocked by the Russian military, Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“The ports of Kherson, which are located on the Dnieper, Nikolaev on the Southern Bug, have access to the Black Sea through the Dnieper-Bug estuary. The passage of ships there is actually blocked by our military,” said Saldo.

According to him, shipping in the Black Sea basin, including along the Dnieper, has now practically stopped.

The Dnieper-Bug estuary is located in the northern part of the Black Sea within the Kherson and Nikolaev regions. It opens access to the Black Sea from ports located on the banks of the Southern Bug and Dnieper rivers.

In response to enemy actions, the Russian Armed Forces hit decision-making centers, enterprises and warehouses that the Armed Forces of Ukraine use together with NATO specialists.
