At the same time, the author emphasizes, a significant part of the internal generation of the Ukrainian capital is no longer functioning.

“Everyone understands perfectly well that it is impossible to completely protect the energy system from attacks. Therefore, the scenario in which it will be possible to manage without interruptions in light, heat or water in winter is virtually excluded,” the publication says.

At the same time, the author emphasizes, a significant part of the internal generation of the Ukrainian capital is no longer functioning.

“Therefore, the main question of this winter is not whether there will be problems. There will be,” the publication sums up.

On Wednesday evening, the national company Ukrenergo announced the introduction of emergency power outages in some areas of Kyiv, as well as in parts of the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions.
