Qin Yang is being tracked for lung adenocarcinoma and is blind in his right eye with only half of his vision left. He is still participating in the charity album "Anti-Drug and Anti-Drug Driving"

[Reporter Xiao Fangqi/Reporting from Taipei] The 54-year-old Qin Yang became famous in Taiwan for his role as the villain "Liu Wen Cong" in the eight o'clock episode of "Taiwan Thunder". His classic line "A fan of fire, a barrel of gasoline" once became a buzzword. After fading from the screen in recent years, he recently launched the charity series "Anti-drugs and anti-drug driving" and served as the producer and screenwriter. He attended the opening ceremony a few days ago. However, when interviewed, Qin Yang also admitted that his physical condition was not as good as before. Not only was lung adenocarcinoma continuing to be tracked, but he was even blind in his right eye with less than half of his field of vision left. The situation was quite distressing.

He was diagnosed with early-stage lung adenocarcinoma eight years ago. In August last year, he suddenly lost sight in his right eye and his vision was impaired. Talking about his current physical condition, Qin Yang said frankly: "The lung adenocarcinoma is still in stage 0. I have continued to follow up and take medicine, and basically the four nodules inside have not grown." Compared with cancer, he frankly said that the condition of his eyes is more difficult: "I lost my sight in my right eye last year and recovered less than 50%. Now I can only see half of the field of vision, which makes my life very difficult."

For the charity album "Anti-Drug and Anti-Drug Driving" launched this time, Qin Yang once again served as co-producer with Lin Yincun, and specially invited the well-known director Xu Likun, who has been working together for nearly 25 years, and Xiao Binbin, who has recently actively transformed into behind-the-scenes photography, to participate in the production. The cast includes Liu Shangqian, He Aiyun, Qin Yang, Tian Shuai, Ma Guobi, Xu Zhiqi, An Dingya, Lin Yijie, Lin Yincun, Wen Xuanyu (Mini Bin), Lien Yinhua, Wu Weisheng (Miso) and others.

The most eye-catching thing is that the play also creates a real-life model of "acting yourself", specially inviting Taipei City Councilor candidate Chen Shengwen, Taiwan World Cheongsam Culture Promotion Federation President Zhang Liti and members, as well as business representatives Lin Hongzhan and Lin Weiru to participate in cross-sector participation to support the anti-drug campaign with practical actions.

In view of the proliferation of the emerging drug "zombie cartridge" (etomidate) in recent years, which makes it easy to fall into drowsiness after taking it, leading to a sharp increase in the probability of drug driving, Qin Yang, who is also the screenwriter, specially integrated this issue into the plot. The story tells the story of an innocent young man, Xiao Yu (played by Mini Bin), who was seduced by his uncle to smoke poisoned e-cigarettes. He drove on the road in a daze, and eventually lost control and crashed into his own grandfather and a girl who was about to get married. A car accident destroyed three families in an instant. The play not only presents medical rescue and confession scenes, but also throws out the core warning that "one wrong choice may cost many people their lives."

Qin Yang emotionally expressed the hope that 2 to 3 episodes of this charity album can be successfully produced and combined into a charity film album. In the future, companies will be called upon to book the theater for viewing. He may make a promise: "50% of the revenue from the rental will be allocated to donate and care for the families who have been killed and injured by drugged driving in recent years. Brothers and sisters, let us work together to protect the safety of our families and all passers-by!"
