Sales of Russian sparkling wine among young people have increased almost 2.5 times. SimpleWine reported to Lenta.ru that Russians rushed to buy domestic drinks.

At the end of 2025, sales of Russian wine increased by 4 percent, and sales volumes continued to increase in 2026. Sparkling wines are being bought more actively - sales of the category increased by 38 percent, and among buyers 18-25 years old - by 130 percent.

Sales of Russian wine by production region vary markedly depending on the category. Crimea leads the sparkling segment: its share increased from 77 percent in 2024 to 79 percent in the first eight months of 2026. The Krasnodar region occupies 21 percent of the segment, while sales in this region grew by 217 percent.

In the category of still wines, the Krasnodar Territory accounts for 84 percent, and the Crimea - only 16.

The peak month remains December. In 2024, it accounted for 19 percent of sparkling wine sales, and in 2025 - already 27 percent. In still wines, the share of the last month decreased slightly - from 14 in 2024 to 11 percent in 2025. At the same time, all domestic wines began to be purchased more often in the summer.
