Taean-gun holds a refund event of up to 20,000 won when purchasing seafood at traditional markets

Taean = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Yun-deok = Taean-gun, South Chungcheong Province, announced on the 10th that it will hold an event that will refund up to 20,000 won if you buy seafood at the local traditional market from the 16th to the 20th.

The event locations are Dongbu Market, West Market, Anmyeondo Fish Market, and Sinjin Port alley-type shopping mall.

If you purchase seafood worth more than 34,000 won but less than 67,000 won at these traditional markets, you will receive 10,000 won back as an Onnuri gift certificate, and 20,000 won for purchases worth more than 67,000 won.

The county expects that a total of 210 million won will be refunded through this event, and sales of more than 700 million won will be generated, revitalizing the local commercial district.

A county official said, “This Chuseok is a good opportunity for county residents and tourists to purchase Taean’s excellent marine products at a reasonable price,” and added, “We hope that both traditional market merchants and consumers can have a bountiful Chuseok.”
