Xu Xinying, the candidate for Hsinchu County Mayor of the Kuomintang, has her third wave of "Hsinchu Women's Power 2030" political views, which focus on "strengthening the temporary childcare system at night and on holidays" to make up for the current time gap in temporary childcare. It also strengthens the matching platform for qualified home childcare providers, and launches the "Hsinchu County Child Care Resources APP" to integrate childcare appointments, childcare matching portals, child health passbooks, early childhood care resources, application and tracking, etc., so that families in need can quickly find child care resources.

Xu Xinying said that many families now have someone to take care of their children during the day, but after 6 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays, when they have something to do and want to take a breather, they can't find anyone to help. As the county magistrate, she will strengthen the nighttime holiday care system to meet the needs of care in the specific situations mentioned above, and also meet the caregivers' need for "simple rest."

She said there are about 1,090 working home-based nannies taking care of 1,342 people in the county. She wants to use these legal childcare manpower through digital matching and zone scheduling to strengthen the function of the matching platform, so that those in need can easily find a matching list based on location, distance, age, childcare time, cost, remaining places, childcare type, childcare needs, etc.

The current parenting information is too scattered, so Xu Xinying needs to use the "Hsinchu County Parenting Resources APP" to solve the problem. This APP will integrate childcare appointments, childcare matching portal, child health passbook, early childhood treatment resources and application and tracking, children's medical information and institutions, etc., to become a one-stop child care navigation system.

Xu Xinying also advocated increasing the number of childcare and kindergarten places and special classes for 2-year-olds, targeting Zhubei, Xinfeng, Hukou, Zhudong and other areas with sustainable population and residential development, and arranging childcare capacity in advance. Especially for the 2-year-old special class, she wants to provide young, dual-income families with "affordable, accessible, connectable, and flexible" child care and early childhood education resources, so that the needs driven by the demographic dividend and changes in family types can be met in a timely manner.
