He disappeared 20 years ago, Rıza Güzel was traced

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi stated that the file of Rıza Güzel, who disappeared in 2006, was re-examined by JASAT teams in the study carried out under the coordination of Kırşehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Farmer shared the following information on the subject:

"Our JASAT, which revealed the truth behind the traffic accident in which Lokman Gökçe lost his life in Manisa 10 years ago, this time tracked down Rıza Güzel, who disappeared in Kırşehir 20 years ago. Under the coordination of our Kırşehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, our Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Teams (JASAT), which re-examined the incident that took place in 2006, carried out a simultaneous operation at 6 different addresses in 3 provinces, after months of meticulous work and judicial wiretapping. Rıza Güzel's wife and 6 children were caught and taken into custody.

As a result of the suspects' confessions and location, bone fragments believed to belong to Rıza Güzel were found. The judicial investigation is being carried out meticulously. No one should think that the passing years will cover up the truth or erase the traces of the crime! If there is a trace, we will follow it. If there is any doubt, we investigate. We don't ignore any detail. As a result of this meticulous and determined follow-up, we have reached a 99.4 percent clarification rate in crimes committed against individuals since the beginning of the year. We will continue to work tirelessly and meticulously, as we have done so far, to ensure that no case remains unsolved.
