2026 Beijing·Tianqiao Musical Annual Ceremony Upgrade: Focus on Industrial Ecological Construction

China News Service, Beijing, September 17 (Reporter Ying Ni) The reporter learned from the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center on the 17th that the upgraded holding mechanism of the 2026 Beijing Tianqiao Musical Annual Ceremony (hereinafter referred to as the "Ceremony") will be officially launched in the near future. This year, it will focus on the construction of industrial ecology.

Starting from 2026, the ceremony will upgrade its holding mechanism and implement "gathering efforts in even years and recommending excellence in odd years": even years will focus on the construction of industrial ecology, positioning it as a "year of concentration"; odd years will focus on presenting creative achievements and positioning it as a "year of glory", forming a long-term mechanism of "setting benchmarks every two years, cultivating the ecology throughout the year, and promoting industry through two-way empowerment".

The 2026 Beijing Tianqiao Musical Annual Ceremony will set up five core sections around the construction of industrial ecology, including industry promotion conferences, summit dialogues, Showcase of new forces in Chinese original musicals, popularization of musical art and talent cultivation, and the release of the "China Musical Market Annual Report". The five major sections deeply link the creation, production and consumption of the musical industry, integrating industry promotion, academic research, content display, talent incubation and data release, further bringing together investors, producers, creators, performance agencies and other industry entities, promoting efficient collaboration of industry resources, and promoting the rapid development of China's original musicals in the times.

The Beijing Tianqiao Musical Annual Ceremony was launched in 2023 and is the country's first musical industry industry recommendation ceremony. In 2024, the content of the festival will be expanded to include the gala evening party, industry forum, musical talent pool and musical annual report. In 2025, the ceremony will be further enriched and expanded into six major sections. The 2025 ceremony evening will serve as the closing ceremony of the 2025 performance season of "Seeing Beijing in a Big Show" and was funded by the Beijing Culture and Art Fund.

The relevant person in charge of the organizer said that the 2026 Beijing·Tianqiao Musical Annual Ceremony, the "Year of Convergence", will further gather high-quality resources in the industry, improve the layout of the industrial chain, promote the coordinated development of works, talents and the market, and contribute to the construction of Beijing's "Performing City" and the prosperity and development of China's musical industry.
