At that time, high-level outdoor sports teams from home and abroad will gather together to compete for a total prize of US$200,000.

The China International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open has extensive influence in the field of international outdoor sports and represents the top level of international outdoor sports competitions. This competition has two categories: multi-sport group and individual racing group. The total race distance of the multi-sport group is about 254 kilometers, with four stages in total, including 92 kilometers of cross-country running, 96 kilometers of mountain biking, 54 kilometers of kayaking, 8 kilometers of alternating running and riding, and 4 kilometers of rubber boating. This group competes in teams of four, with at least one member of the opposite sex in each team.

The multi-category tracks include alpine meadows, canyon secrets, primitive mountains and forests, and rivers and lakes, testing the players' physical fitness, endurance and comprehensive outdoor skills. Up to now, the multi-level group has assembled 11 overseas teams and 32 domestic elite teams.

"Wulong has a unique and irreplaceable geographical environment. From the river valley at an altitude of 160 meters to the Fairy Mountain at 2,033 meters, there is a vertical drop of nearly 1,900 meters. The collection of three-dimensional karst landforms such as sinkholes, ground cracks, caves, and alpine meadows has created a rare composite outdoor sports venue system in China." Wulong District Committee Wei Xinggui, deputy secretary and district head of the district government, said at the press conference that the local area will focus on the goal of building a "national high-quality outdoor sports destination", continue to amplify the brand effect of the China International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open, accelerate the in-depth integrated development of "sports + tourism", and lead the high-quality development of the outdoor sports industry.

Wulong is located in the fold area where Wuling Mountain and Dalou Mountain meet. It has karst natural landscapes such as caves, sinkholes, ground fissures, canyons, and peak clusters, which is very suitable for holding outdoor sports events.

The China International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open has been successfully held in Wulong for 20 times, attracting more than 450 teams and more than 2,000 athletes from more than 70 countries and regions.
