Shinhan University holds 'Color of Asia 2026' cultural festival on university campus and around Mangwolsa Station

Shinhan University announced on the 11th that it will hold the cultural festival 'Color of Asia 2026' (COLOR OF ASIA) on the university campus and around Mangwolsa Station from the 12th to the 19th.

Shinhan University explained that it expanded the university festival into an urban festival with the entire community by connecting university students, foreign students, K-culture content, citizens, commercial districts, and cultural resources.

During this period, various programs are held in the Mangwol-ro area, including street performances, food, flea markets, and entertainment and cultural experiences.

Cultural experience booths from 12 Asian countries will be set up, and students from each country will introduce traditional clothing, food, crafts, and traditional games.

On campus, films from Asian countries such as India, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, China, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan are screened.

The university festival 'CODE BLUE' will be held on the 14th and 15th. You can experience young culture and energy through performances by singers Eunbi Kwon, Bibi, and Kepler, as well as talent shows, club and Taekwondo performances, and youth song festivals.

The festival's highlight, the 'Super Rookie Contest', will be held on the outdoor stage of Bethel Hall on campus on the 19th. Domestic and foreign youth, students, citizens, and international students participate and compete for their talents, focusing on K-culture such as modeling, vocals, and dance.

In addition, there will be programs for the elderly in which students from the university's dental technology, beauty, optical optics, and dental hygiene departments participate, events for children to experience things such as daycare centers and kindergartens, and academic and cultural exchange events at overseas universities.

President Kang Seong-jong said, “Color of Asia is a festival where different cultures meet, understand, communicate, and learn how to live together. I hope that small moments of experiencing differences will lead to understanding and empathy, and that empathy will create a community.”
